2. PRODUCTS OR SERVICES
2.1. Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy.
2.2. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate.
2.3. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.
2.4. We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.
2.5 All my products are handmade in New Zealand. Due to the nature of handmade items each item may have slight variations from one to another.
2.6 Please supervise children under three years of age with our products. Some of our designs may have diamante’s, buttons, sequins or small items that could be harmful to young children. These items should not be given to children under 3 years of age.
2.7 My cake toppers are made with high quality cardstock. Please be aware of this when placing your items on your cake near candles. I take no responsibility for fire damage.
2.8 All party items are made to order, so please allow up to 10 days for production.
3. ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
3.1. We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made.
3.2. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
3.3. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made with us. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

6.1. Whilst we will take all reasonable precautions to ensure that the use of our Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure and error-free we give no guarantee in respect of the same.

6.3. You agree that from time to time we may remove the Service for indefinite periods of time or cancel the Service at any time, without notice to you.

11. PAYMENT TERMS
11.1. Unless otherwise stated payment will be in New Zealand Dollars.
11.2. The buyer will be responsible for all credit card fees, exchange rates, customs duties and any foreign currency fees. Any exchange rates mentioned by Melrose Paper Designs are an estimate only and we advise you check with your bank for exact rates. All prices are GST zero-rated.
12.1. Delivery of the Goods to a carrier/courier will be deemed delivery to the customer (along with all associated risk in those goods) in accordance with the Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017, Section 167.
12.2. Where delivery involves sea transit, the buyer is expressly notified that they are responsible for insuring those goods in transit where they deem it necessary.
13. MEDICAL INFORMATION
13.1. The information provided on this website and packaging is an overview to inform you of the general uses of our products. None of the statements are designed to treat or diagnose any particular conditions or illnesses. Our products have not been viewed or evaluated by any medical body and they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent diseases, illnesses, or any other health conditions. If you have any allergies or pre-existing conditions you should seek medical advice before using any of our products.
14. COPYRIGHT INFRINGMENT
14.1 As Melrose Paper Designs asks others to respect its intellectual property rights, it respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that material located on or linked to by melrosepaper.co.nz violates your copyright, you are encouraged to notify Melrose Paper Designs. Melrose Paper Designs will respond to all such notices, including as required or appropriate by removing the infringing material or disabling all links to the infringing material. Melrose Paper Designs will terminate a visitor’s access to and use of the Website if, under appropriate circumstances, the visitor is determined to be a repeat infringer of the copyrights or other intellectual property rights of Melrose Paper Designs or others. In the case of such termination, Melrose Paper Designs will have no obligation to provide a refund of any amounts previously paid to Melrose Paper Designs.

Your use of the Website grants you no right or license to reproduce or otherwise use any Melrose Paper Designs or third-party trademarks.
16. CONTACT INFORMATION

If you change your mind about your purchase you have 30 days from the date of your order to return the item. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. However, due to hygiene reasons, I do not accept returns on earrings. And due to the personalisation of party décor, I do not accept returns on customised orders. Any other standard item may be eligible for a return.
Gift cards are non-refundable.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or other proof of purchase acceptable to us.
1.1. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
2.1. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a reasonable timeframe.
2. LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
2.1. If you haven’t received a refund yet:
– first check your bank account again.
– Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
– Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
2.2. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com
3. SALE ITEMS
3.1. Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
4.1. We only replace items if they are defective or otherwise unacceptable in terms of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (where applicable). If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to explain the issue.
5.1. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
5.2. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
5.3. If you are shipping an item or items valued at over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
6. FAULTY ITEMS
6.1 I am proud of the work that I create, but in the event that an item is faulty or has an incorrect detail, please contact me at email@example.com and I’ll be happy to provide a replacement or refund.
6.2 If the incorrect detail has been approved by you in the design proofing process, a refund or replacement will not take place. Please be sure to look over spelling etc when accepting the design proof.
1. WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
1.1. When you purchase something from us, as part of the transaction, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
1.2. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
1.3 We may collect your email address and your items left in your cart to send abandoned cart and “leave a review” emails. Your email address will help us support your shopping experience throughout the site.
1.4. Email marketing: we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.
2.1. How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction your consent to our collecting your information is deemed for the purpose of completing the transaction.
2.2. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason (other than for completing the transaction), like marketing, we will either ask you for your express consent, or provide you with an opportunity to opt out.

8.1 If Melrose Paper Designs, or substantially all of its assets, were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Melrose Paper Designs goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Melrose Paper Designs may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.

Processing time to manufacture your order is 2-10 working days. I ship my products with NZ Post with a target overnight delivery. Most arrive on time, but occasionally there are delays so please allow up to 5 days for urban, and 7 days for rural. I recommend allowing plenty of time for your product to arrive as no refunds will be given for late arrivals.
Unfortunately, I do not ship outside of NZ at this time.
